Android 10: Quince Tart

I apologize for the confusion, but there is no official version of Android called "Quince Tart." After Android 9 Pie, the next major release of the Android operating system is Android 10. It was officially announced on September 3, 2019, and introduced several new features, improvements, and visual changes. Here are some key features of Android 10:

1. System-wide dark mode: Android 10 introduced a system-wide dark mode, allowing users to switch to a darker color scheme across the entire user interface and supported apps. Dark mode aimed to reduce eye strain and save battery life on devices with OLED screens.

2. Gesture navigation improvements: Building on the gesture navigation introduced in Android 9 Pie, Android 10 refined the gesture-based navigation system. It offered smoother navigation gestures, faster app switching, and a more seamless overall experience.

3. Live Caption: Android 10 introduced Live Caption, a feature that added real-time captions to any video or audio content playing on the device. It used on-device machine learning to generate captions, making digital content more accessible.

4. Privacy enhancements: Android 10 brought several privacy-focused features and improvements. It provided more granular control over app permissions, including the ability to grant permissions only while the app is in use. It also introduced new restrictions on accessing device identifiers and tightened security measures.

5. Focus mode: Android 10 introduced Focus mode, which allowed users to temporarily silence distracting apps and notifications. It helped users stay focused and minimize distractions by pausing notifications from selected apps.

6. Smart Reply in notifications: Android 10 introduced Smart Reply, which generated suggested responses to messages and notifications. Users could quickly respond to messages directly from the notification shade without opening the corresponding app.

7. Improved privacy and security: Android 10 introduced improvements to the biometric authentication system, enabling a more secure and consistent user experience across devices. It also introduced Scoped Storage, which provided better app and data isolation for improved security and privacy.

8. Wi-Fi and connectivity enhancements: Android 10 introduced several enhancements to Wi-Fi and connectivity features. It introduced Wi-Fi Easy Connect, making it easier to connect devices to Wi-Fi networks securely. It also brought support for 5G networks, providing faster and more reliable connections where available.

9. Enhanced location controls: Android 10 provided users with more control over their location data. It introduced new location permission options, allowing users to grant location access to apps only while they are being used, further enhancing privacy.

10. Smart home control: Android 10 introduced a dedicated "Smart Home" section in the device settings, providing quick and convenient access to control and manage smart home devices and settings.

Android 10 brought several new features, privacy enhancements, and improvements to the Android platform, focusing on user experience, privacy, and security. It aimed to provide a more efficient, intuitive, and secure Android experience for users.
