How to install Ngrok

Ngrok is not a phishing tool; rather, it is a popular and widely used tunneling software that facilitates secure and encrypted connections from the public internet to a local network. It allows developers and individuals to expose a local web server, such as a development server running on their machine, to the internet. This is particularly useful for testing and development purposes when you need to share your locally hosted applications or websites with others.

Ngrok creates a secure tunnel between the local server and the Ngrok servers. When you run Ngrok, it assigns a public URL that can be accessed from the internet and forwards incoming requests to your local server, making it accessible to anyone with the public URL. It's important to note that the public URL provided by Ngrok is temporary and subject to change each time you start the Ngrok service.

Since Ngrok provides public access to your local server, it is crucial to use it with caution and only for legitimate purposes. Avoid exposing sensitive or production servers to the public internet using Ngrok, as this could pose security risks if not properly configured and managed.

Overall, Ngrok is a valuable tool for developers and teams working on web applications or services, allowing them to share their work with others easily and securely during the development process.
